Na’au Talks
Na’au Talks was a virtual reality documentary filmmaking workshop for native Hawaiian high school and college students. Students learn how to use new technologies to tell old stories, paving the way for technology to be used to preserve the sacred histories of Hawaiʻi. Each student pairs with a kūpuna (elder) to bring their story to life using 360 video, creating a unique unification of generational wisdom. We are working to empower native Hawaiians to document their cultural identities through filmmaking.
